Geelong Grammar School is one of the world’s leading coeducational boarding and day schools offering exceptional education to all of its students from early learning through to Year 12. Geelong Grammar School seeks to inspire its students and community to thrive and make a positive difference through its unique, transformational and well-rounded education.

Geelong Grammar School empowers its young people in pursuit of not only their own wellness and purpose but also in support of creating a positive difference to others. The School embodies this same philosophy through its magnanimous support of scholarships and delivery of projects providing a life-changing opportunity to students who would otherwise be unable to access this world class education.

This is an outstanding opportunity to build upon your Advancement career within a state of the art, leading-edge School. Reporting to the Director of Advancement and working closely with a diversely-skilled team, your key responsibilities will include personally managing a portfolio of major gift prospects; identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors for the School in support of key initiatives and community programmes.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in securing and maintaining long term relationships within an educational or community environment, along with relevant tertiary or post-secondary qualifications. A positive attitude and genuine commitment to the ethos of Geelong Grammar School is paramount; with the opportunity for training and support to a candidate demonstrating a passion and drive for making a difference in a philanthropic educational setting.

This exciting and pivotal role is suited to an excellent communicator and relationship builder with sound organisation and time management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously – and someone not afraid to make the ask.

An attractive salary package, including generous car allowance, is offered plus salary packaging options, onsite car parking and excellent employee benefits. Availability for some evenings and weekends is expected, and a current Victorian Drivers Licence is required.
